Games full of thrills, excitement and spectacle. There's pipebands, solo piping and highland dancing. There's competitions-heavyweights, tug of war and backhold wrestling.

Loch Lomond Highland Games - Balloch
The games are held each year in Balloch Castle Country Park, situated close to Balloch Castle on the shores of Loch Lomond.

The Lomond Folk Festival - Balloch
Annual event held at Balloch on the shores of Loch Lomond. Artisits include Donnie Munro and Raggle Taggle Gypsies.

25th - 26th July
Glasgow River Festival - River Clyde
The hugely popular Glasgow River Festival provides a colourful opportunity to celebrate the past, present and future of Glasgow's historic waterfront with two days of free family entertainment. A mixture of water and land activities and entertainment in and around the SECC, Glasgow Science Centre and The Tall Ship 'Glenee'.
