The 2009 Leith Festival - Leith Festival offers an array of tours, recitals, concerts & exhibitions, live music events, comedy, theatre and the Parade and Gala Day
The Gala Day and Parade will take place on Leith Links on Saturday 13th June.

Dragon Boat Challenge 2009 - Balloch Castle Country Park
Bobath Scotland's annual dragon boat race at Loch Lomond.  Enter a team to win the race! Starts at 10am and lasts all day

World Fly Fishing Championships 2009 - Drymen
Starting at 10am and lasting all day with the official opening of the event on Friday 5th June at 4.30pm

Having started off as a small local festival centred around Byres Road, this has now grown over the past 10 years to become one of the biggest cultural events in Glasgow's calendar.

Mugdock Music Festival
Set in Mugdock Country Park, this 3rd Mugdock Music Festival features acts from around the world and covers many musical genres, from the traditional sound of the bagpipes to African and Asian productions, as well as classic and folk. Not to be missed - The Red Hot Chilli Pipers!

Glasgow International Jazz Festival - Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch
Breaking out of Glasgow to the Loch with great bands for all tastes.  Daytime performaces free.

Cashel Open Day - Balmaha 11am - 3pm
A fun day for all the family - craft stalls, children's games and stories, treasure hunt in the woods, refreshments.
